Art-based production company, Lucy MacGarry Art & Design (L’MAD Collection) recently collaborated with online art marketplace, Latitudes Online, to release a collection of limited-edition silk scarves, Made it to the life raft. Designed by local visual artists, Cinthia Sofa Mulanga, Jana & Koos, Shakil Solanki, Olivié Keck, Pebofatso Mokoena, Maja Maljevic, Io Makandal and Puleng Mongale, the silk scarf ‘artworks’ will be available to purchase online as well as from Joburg-based Guillotine’s 44 Stanley store.

In a first for Latitudes Online, an accompanying NFT will be offered with the first 25 scarves purchased online. With this ‘Certificate of Authenticity’, Latitudes Online hopes to encourage their clients to explore the world of NFTs through the safety and familiarity of their online platform.
