Co-founder & managing director
Pieter Bruwer
Passionate about the future of South Africa, and an entrepreneur at heart, Pieter co-founded LOOKBOOK in 2020 after a successful 23-year career in educational publishing. With his focus now on the creative sector and the growth of our cultural economy, Pieter is fine-tuning his passion for good design, intriguing architecture and innovative aesthetics.
General manager
Margot Molyneux
It comes as no surprise that Margot cuts a stylish form wherever you put her. After a decade of running a fashion design business, this woman of many talents has now turned to publishing. Her ability to garner a mass of social media followers and her design savvy ensures all our LOOKBOOK digital platforms are in very good hands.
Communications liaison
Sisipho Graham
Equal parts creative and eloquent, cheerful and charming, Sisipho is a former business student with a good head for numbers and a great eye for design. This all-rounder assists us with anything from research to writing to sourcing, plus he’s a social media buff and constantly has his eyes peeled for all things hot and happening.
Co-founder & creative director
Charl Francois Edwards
As the co-founder of LOOKBOOK, Charl brings with him over 10 years’ experience in the decor, retail, branding and publishing industries. A self-confessed magazine addict, Charl has been instrumental in the relaunch of the iconic House and Leisure magazine, acting as Editor-in-Chief and all-round creative guru.
Content creator
Grace Crooks
Raised by an architect and an artist, Grace was born to be a LOOKBOOKer. The newest member of our team, she adds a calm, creative energy to the studio – and excels in her many varied roles, be it through design, research or writing. Her tranquil presence and diverse creative skillset mean she gets to be involved in many aspects of what we do. Grace loves a leisurely stroll, paired with compulsory stops to smell the roses.
Style editor
Storm Ross
It’s been an effortless transition from floral design to creative styling for Storm. A botanical and nature enthusiast, Storm is equally inspired by exquisite interiors, thoughtful construction and beautiful objects, most notably ethical design and all things handmade.
Studio manager
Lisiwe Qukwana
Our studio runs so smoothly because Lisiwe is at the helm. She is our go-to for everything relating to HR, finance, IT and pretty much anything else. Lisiwe may seem laid-back (thanks to her sunrise yoga sessions and tranquil hikes) but she’s a stickler for a schedule, so submit a tardy invoice or late payment at your peril.
Commercial editor
Greer Krige
After 13 years at House and Leisure, Greer has an incredible knowledge of the decor and design industry. In her previous life, she majored in housing and project management. At LOOKBOOK, Greer manages all commercial matters, from strategic partnerships and distribution to shaking up the traditional magazine model. She gets excited about decor, art, wine and plants, not necessarily in that order.
